Budapest, Hungary Round 2 - July 25 - 29

Saturday July 25

I really can't remember what we did.

Sunday July 26

We had a big cook up at the hostel of goulash. Everyone decided to toga up for the occasion:

Our first home, before we sold it to a fellow Australian. Sorry Jessie for not getting you to sell it for us but we needed a quick sale :P

Artemis?

And yes, our togas were made out of our bedsheets.

We all decided to head in to town afterwards and we wanted to stay in our togas but the hostel owner didn't want us trashing our bedsheets so we had to leave them behind. We headed in to the bar that we had been to on Friday but it wasn't very busy. We all drank there for a few hours before heading back to the hostel to crash.

Monday July 27

I headed to the Australian Embassy and ordered my emergency passport. $450 later...

Tuesday July 28

Our last night @ Back Pack Guesthouse :(
We said goodbye in style. 2nd hand style. We all headed in to go second hand clothes shopping for the craziest stuff we could, for a party at the hostel. We had a close call with the ticket inspectors on the way there, Steve had a ticket but I couldn't find mine so we had a bit of explaining to do.

When we got back to the hostel Steve cooked soup for us, Taz, Georgie and Monty (the guys who work at the hostel) and then we all got crazy in our outfits and had a boozy last night in Budapest. We met heaps of really cool people this time round - it was busier than when we were last there. Mostly Aussies/Scandinavians/Dutch people but a few Irish/British people thrown in too

Wednesday July 29

Headed to Budapest airport to farewell Eastern/Central Europe (for the time being). I really hope we get to go back there, because has really made our trip.
