General stuff about Serbia:
Serbian red lights are twice the size of the orange and green. (you do notice strange things while traveling!)
Lots of people own pet dogs and walk them frequently.
Everything was pretty user friendly - public transport, post office etc
People love psy trance.
The Serbian people still talk about the war lots, but the evidence of the war is not as prominent as you may think.
Serbia is cheap. A lot cheaper than the lonely planet guide says it is. We bought 2 packs of peanuts, chips and coke at the train station (more expensive than normal) for about $3.20 Au. Steve was buying large pastries for lunch or dinner for about $1.80 Au.
Serbian women are tall.
The post tattoo care sucks.
Local drink is a plum or other fruit brandies and are higher alcohol content than normal spirits.
